Get Super Clean uses a safe, non-toxic cleaning method to clean your rug.

Our Eight Step Process

Step One: Pre-Inspection

We thoroughly inspect each rug to determine the type of fiber, the density of the pile, the typer of weave the rugs overall condition, the condition of the fringe and test for color fastness.  All of these things help us determine the type of cleaning and care needed.

Step Two: Dusting

Proper dusting is the most important step of our process.  We combine special “zero-surface” grids and a harmonic dusting machine to vibrate the heavy, deeply embedded, particulate soil out of the rugs fibers and foundation.  We then air blast the rug to remove the fine grit razor soils.  Next, we turn the rug over and vacuum the top surface of the rug to remove any remaining dirt and dust particles before the immersion cleaning.

Step Three:  Odor Removal

Before we clean the rug we check for any odors that may be trapped deep within the fibers and foundation.  We utilize specialized products to treat these odors for up to 12 hours to remove even difficult pet urine odors.

Step Four: Cleaning and Allergy Treatment

Not every type of fiber and yarn used to construct rugs should be cleaned using the same process.  Most rugs respond best to our immersion cleaning in our custom made bath similar to the traditional river washing done for thousands of years.  We pay special attention to stain and spot removal, the prevention of color loss and dye bleeding.  We don’t put rugs together in the same bath.  All rugs are cleaned individually and by hand, using low pH products to ensure safe and gentle results with no residue.  We also offer special allergy treatments that significantly reduce the allergens trapped in rug fibers.

Step Five: Rinsing

We employ a soft water rinse for rugs that are washed in our custom bath with water constantly flowing through the rug until there is nothing running through the rug but cool clear water.  When rugs are not completely rinsed in this manner, soil and cleaning product residues are left behind that result in fading, discoloration, erosion, of fibers, and premature re-soiling.  Our thorough rinsing process leaves the rug soft, silky, and most importantly residue free.

Step Six: Centrifuge Drying & Grooming

Next we centrifuge the rug.  During this step we continue to rinse any remaining micro-particles away for the most clean and residues free rugs in all of Dallas, TX!  When the water runs clear and we’re satisfied with our results, we carefully groom the rug in the direction the knots are tied which determines the direction of the rugs pile.

Step Seven: Drying

If there is any concern of “bleeding” the rug is dried flat to ensure no colors run or browning occurs.  When necessary, we can also block the rug to correct distortion if requested.  The rug is then hung to finish drying in our thermostatically controlled drying room with gentle warm air encircling the entire rug to speed up the process.  Before being removed from our tower, the rugs are tested using a moisture detection probe.  This extra step ensure that the rug is completely dry before it is returned to you.

Step Eight: Post Inspection

Before a rug leaves our plant we re-inspect it using a method called “hand-and-knees” inspecting to make sure it is the cleanest it can possibly be.  After the post-inspection, we post-vacuum to make sure there is absolutely no particulate matter left in the rug.  If we detect any remaining soil or spots that can  e removed we will repeat any necessary steps.  We absolutely love caring for these beautiful works of art and pride ourselves in our through but gentle process.
